Morale boost mission accomplished

OMG! The ocean beach is so much fun!

I saw my humans getting stressed, and knew they needed a break. Mr. Knits had this idea called a Vacation at the Ocean. So that’s what we did! We went for a ride longer than we have ever done before. There were SO many new sniffs!

Then we got to our small cabin a short walk from the beach. It had some grass I could wander around on. There were even new sniffs there! I got to meet a few new humans and dogs, but I didn’t let them get too close to our cabin (Mr. & Mrs. Knits objected to that for some reason). It’s in a place called Grayland - made sense since the skies were mostly gray. But it was nice and cool compared to being hot at home.

Then we went walkies to the ocean. That was so much fun! I got to run around on the beach, smell the funny creatures with shells, and jump around in the water!

There was plenty of relaxing time though. I like watching dog videos with my humans - those dogs want to play too. My humans brought some of my familiar things like my toys, a bone (moose antler), and my own bed.

Along with a few visits to the ocean, we visited a few local sites in Westport, including a brewery, some dog-friendly shops, and a dock with dozens of cages that smelled like crabs.

Then we headed home. I celebrated a job well done with my own hamburger (none of that extra stuff like bread or veggies) on the way home.

It’s nice to be back home, so I can help Mr. Knits pick more yarn to send out today and tomorrow. Thank you for your purchases while we were away, which helped pay for my nom-noms!
