Woof - Morale Officer Chewbacca Mariconda

Oh hai! My name was Joey, but two humans adopted me, called me Chewie (short for Chewbacca, whoever that is) and said I am the new Morale Officer for Mrs. Knits Yarn Shop.

Sounds like a good thing, I think it’s important, but they really stare at those screens a lot pushing buttons.I’m an only dog and spoiled.

Well I have a few ideas to keep them from working too hard. I’m always pawing at that phone to love up my humans. A little mischief is good too, although I got in some trouble for picking up what Mr. Knits called Queensland Perth 102. He gave the ball of yarn to Mrs. Knits to “knit a sample” and used the word “skutch” (I’m still learning the language).

I take my job seriously supervising Mr. & Mrs. Knits very closely - sometimes too closely, bumping into their legs. I even have to clean up after them sometimes. And to keep them physically active, they are going to take me walkies today.

Finally, I make sure they unwind at the end of the workday. Sometimes I have to demonstrate proper maintenance of morale myself - for more Happy Knitting tomorrow.
