Out of the Box with Mr. Knits: What’s in time for your holiday?
When you order something online for gift-giving, you’d ideally like to see it arrive before the holiday occasion. And not just the day before, unless you are part of the “slap a bow on it” crowd. 😃
We are certainly cognizant of that holiday wish, and we want to help. The general rule is that we ship within 2 business days (often sooner) via US Postal Service Ground Advantage. While they have proven quite reliable overall, we cannot guarantee what happens to your yummies after I bring them to my friends at the west Bremerton post office.
How long do they usually take? Here are some guidelines:
Pacific Northwest, 1-2 days
Mountain & Pacific time zones, 2-3 days
Central time zone, 3-4 days
Eastern time zone, 4-5 days (unless drop-shipped from our supplier, mostly needle & hook sets, then 2-3 days)
Now we can’t speak to all Winter Solstice holidays, but we understand Christmas and Hanukkah, both of which happen to fall on December 25th this year. So the east coast should get orders in to us by the end of this weekend for a likely arrival by Christmas Eve (I will do a round of shipments on Monday the 16th to help the cause). Adjust accordingly for other regions.
You can refer to the full details in our shipping policies.
But guess what, we even have last minute gifts covered! We offer eGift cards that are delivered to you within minutes via email, and can be forwarded, or printed by you to give to the sophisticated knitter or crocheter in your life.
Now you are set to give Happy Knitting and Happy Crocheting!
