What’s on our Needles: Holiday 2023
Mrs. Knits is over the moon with excitement for Holiday 2023 Knitting. She’s planning to consult with Mrs. Crochet (Mother) and the School of Sweet Georgia (details in 2024) to get “What’s on our Hooks?” together for her TKGA (The Knitter’s Guild of America” certification as a Professional Knitter.
So What’s on our Needles this festive season?
We have a limited collection of Holiday Halfsies which are mini-skeins called Unicorn. The della Q snap pouch comes in matching colors for Spiked Punch (Deep shades) Yeti (Neutrals) and White Elephant (Warm tones)
Madelinetosh Hue of the Month (HOTM) of November is the “Breakup Collection” which is a heart warming collection featured in the “Dear John Letter Vest” (see it on Ravelry and friend Mrs. Knits who is QueenofKnitting2. The pattern is perfect for replacing the Ex-Boyfriend projects you’d rather not finish. Mrs. Knits has been there and it was cathartic to burn it and move on. Mr. Knits is in no danger. We haven’t yet revealed December yet but it’s shipping to us the first week of December.
Dear John Letter Vest is for anyone looking for some cheering up to feel beautiful and special.
Dear John Letter Yarn is part of Madelinetosh’s Hue of the Month. HOTM is a monthly colorway specially crafted with different themes and fibers. We are stocking the Tosh Sock version and will be adding additional bases (Tosh DK, ASAP Tosh Merino Light and others next year. If you have to have it and don’t see it in our store we can probably special order for you in 2-3 weeks.
Speaking of Holiday Colors: We placed a big order for Madelinetosh Collections to refresh our color palattes and restock loved colors like Artic, Farmhouse White and the exciting new fall shades like Peca, today. Excited barely covers it. Mrs. Knits loves the ASAP collection and has an easy cowl pattern that’s simply cast on, love yarn, cast off and make 3+ over the weekend with it’s Bulky instant gratification yarn. We have dozens of “oops” colors they affectionately call “One of a Kind” offering that will be released in Jan 2024 as Mrs. Knits Kits with a pretty accessories case as a gift with purchase for Mad Fanatics.
We are also obsessed with the unique Madelinetosh Holiday Halfsies. We only got a handful so we expect to sell out fast. When they do we have some options to bring in more of the featured yarn Tosh Merino Light. If you love your halfsies (they are mini skein “unicorns” in the kit) we are also adding TML in additional unicorn colors rolling out starting next week.

We have just introduced the iconic Tough Love Sock Yarn. We have dozens of happy fun brights, sublime neutrals and rich earthy shades. Mrs. Knits is using TLS for taking her sock lessons at the School of Sweet Georgia.
